
Pet Bed Project
Don't forget to collect any small scraps from your cutting table. Use them to stuff pet beds for our local no kill shelter. Scraps of fabric can be put into an old pillowcase or something you have made from your fabric stash. Fill the case loosely then sew end shut. Bring it to our Monthly meeting for our Charity committee to take to the shelter
Pillowcase Project
Pillowcases in COTTON or FLANNEL are delivered to Children at the Local Hospitals and for Child Haven. The pattern is available here: Burrito Pillow Case. Bring the washed and ironed pillowcase in a plastic gallon bag to the Monthly meeting


Quilts for Charity
Charity Quilts are collected at our monthly meeting. Quilts donated are delivered to Child Haven, Fisher House for families that are visiting hospitalized Veterans at the VA Hospital here in Vegas. They are also donated to the North Las Vegas Police Department for Children in Crisis. Isolette Covers are also donated to the NICUs at Area Hospitals. Donations of unfinished tops, UFO Blocks and Batting are also welcome.

Homeless Teen Project
School Supplies, Toiletry items, laundry soap and other grooming aids are collected at the monthly meetings. Also, nonperishable food items that can be carried in backpacks, such as fruit roll ups, pop top cans of fruit, pudding cups, instant oatmeal and granola bars are appreciated. Items go to Project 150 to be distributed to over 6,000 homeless high school students in over 58 schools in Southern NV.
Quilts of Valor Project

We also participate in the Quilts of Valor program for our Nevada Service Men and Women. You can help by sewing blocks or a quilt top or volunteer to quilt a donated top. Quilts for October 1 Survivors
Vegas Strong Resiliency Center
The Resiliency Center has been providing quilts made by local quilters to the victims and survivors of the October 2018 Shooting on the strip. They have over 8,000 people in their data base that have registered. Las Vegas Quilters continues to supply Lap size quilts to the Center for distribution.
